Owners of Marriott Resorts timeshares often find themselves trapped in infinite contracts with rapidly increasing maintenance fees which ultimately stems from a mis-sold timeshare contract. Over recent years there have been a number of ground-breaking rulings regarding mis-sold timeshares by many timeshare groups and resorts which have resulted in refunds and compensation. Many owners of Marriott’s Villas at Doral Resort timeshare contracts are entitled to, or have already made claims. Some of the Marriott Timeshare Owners who have already terminated their timeshare contracts have said that they exited their timeshare because they felt that the sales process had constituted mis-selling and that the maintenance fees for Marriott resorts were way to expensive. They also cites one reason for wanting to get rid of their timeshare was due to in-perpetuity clauses in the timeshare agreement
I enjoyed my stay until I saw my charges on the credit card. All I’m going to say about why I gave it a 1, I wish there was a zero. HORRIBLE in handling a customer issue.
I even called corporate customer care they also gave HORRIBLE customer service.
Corporate office response to my issue was “they are not at that hotel and they don’t represent what the hotel did in error” so that made me upset even more.
I told him are you not under the same name as Marriot, he repeated himself and then told me that if he didn’t like his answer that I can talk to someone else.
I guess NO ONE IN MARRIOTS cares about the customer service.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND.
